"Oj Edu Ja Darogaju" is a song of a woman aching for love. She's walking the road singing a song hoping someone would hear it feel sorry for her and fall in love. Old Belorussian word "Love" meant "To Make Love" while expression "to feel sorry for smb" had the meaning of "to feel love for smb" The song was recorded in 2006 in Kazly, Elski district, Gomel region from words of Valentina Ljaukovskoi, DOB 1940 and Nadezhda Kavalenka, DOB 1937 by I. Maziuk and T. Varphalameeva.

Жніўная песня, запісаная у 2006 г. у в Казлы Ельскага р-на Гомельскай вобл. ад Валянціны Ляўкоўскай 1940 г.н. і Надзеі Каваленкі 37г.н. Запісалі І.Мазюк і Т. Варфаламеева.

Эта песня история женщины, которая отчаянно печалиться без любви. Она идет по дороге и поет песню, надеясь, что кто-то услышит ее и пожалеет, полюбит. в старом беларуском языке слово любить означало "заниматься любовью". например "любілі дзеўку ў каноплях", а "жалець, жалковацi" означало "кахаць", любить.
