CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 5, 2018 – Shortly after his debut single released this past September, 7, 2018, Eames [aka Derek Albert Schurbon] is releasing his second single, ‘Feel’, channelling influences such as Mura Masa, Flume, Frank Ocean and Bon Iver.

‘Feel’ will have you moving as soon as you hear it. The song’s contagious future bass feel mixed with Eames’s catchy electro pop style is a recipe for a musical addiction. Slowly becoming known for his distinctive vocal sampling and specific electronic sound, Eames’ is making a name for himself. As the writer, producer and musician for this entire song, this is just the beginning for talented musician and writer, Eames.

Derek Albert Schurbon, professionally known as Eames, is an American music producer, songwriter, film composer, and drummer. His debut studio single, ‘Die 4 U’, released everywhere Friday, September 7, 2018. His second single, Feel, will be available Friday, October 5, 2018. Previously Eames has toured with indie-pop artist Betty Who, remixed songs for indie artist Brayton Bowman, scored films for director Jakub Blank, and more. His music covers many genres in his work and has been influenced by many producers and artists alike, across all genres and decades, such as: Flying Lotus, J Dilla, B. Lewis, Flume, Mura Masa, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Chet Baker, Frank Ocean, Ariel Rechtshaid, and more.
