Slow Jane is a pop-folk singer-songwriter. Her first album was released on 20.09.20. A second one is in preparation, preceded by the release of a track, "He Said", featuring Fakear.

During her studies of philosophy at the Ecole Normale Supérieure, she was part of the indie-pop band Carolina, with backing vocals and keyboard (3 EPs, numerous concerts on Parisian and Italian stages between 2013 and 2015).

For a long time she dissociated stage and composition, practising the second as a solitary asceticism - with her first solo album, she reconciles the public and the intimate. From her bedroom to the stage, she sings about the aftermath of happy days: the rarity of the coincidence of love, the missed or distorted encounters and moments, the blurred presence of dreams and memories. In the spirit of Nick Drake's Pink Moon, Joni Mitchell's Songto a Seagull or Elliott Smith's Either/or, the choice of an acoustic instrumentation, of a sound that is not very "produced" serves the spontaneity and the sweetness of the interpretation. A folk guitar, piano melodies, a few synths and bass lines highlight the melancholic depth of Slow Jane's voice, on songs that take time. Built around a voice reminiscent of Angel Olsen or Dolores O'Riordan, the songs feature haunting folk rhythms (Millionaire), caressing and syncopated pianos (Drunkennite), and heady melodies (Second Thoughts, Back to the Flesh).

Slow Jane has recently performed with 3 musicians at the Trois Baudets (10.07) and Les Disquaires (22.07). More dates are to come for Slow Jane - Millionaire in the fall.
