“It's gonna be alright" was written during quarantine where everything was suspended and where time gave way to introspective discovery of within. This song is about the emotions we all feel and the fear we sometimes have to externalize.
It is a call to shout, a call to tears, to explosions of laughter and rage. A hand that tends to the possibility of expression, of taking the waves of emotion in your arms and sharing them with those around us.

At the age of 19, Mélys decided to embark on a journey across the Atlantic ocean. With a backpack, a violin in one hand and a guitar in the other, she explored the Americas by sailing boat. Learning the guitar on the road and busking to support her on her travels. Her first compositions are inspired by new horizons, various cultures and beautiful experiences.
After three years she returned to Europe in Brussels to share her music, discovering the pleasure and meaning in playing her music live with other musicians. Finally returning to her childhood hamlet in southern France (Hérault) to record her debut EP “Agua”.

This album is a mix between old and new compositions all related to the water. Water of the ocean, ocean of feelings and emotions, a celebration of an eternal cycle…
Since the recording she now plays her music with three other musicians. Today her bright and intimate indie-folk sound is evolving, taking influences from Pop music, Traditional Folk and even sometimes Rock…
