"I was cooped up in my room with my acoustic guitar playing around with some chords and humming a melody to it. Later than night, I struggled to fall asleep (due to my insomnia) so I decided to write this song. I had all these ideas of a way to write a song about insomnia and something people could connect to such as love. All these ideas came flowing to the page and, at this time, I had a crush on someone in my school but she was always with other guys and I would spend countless hours thinking what do I have to do for you to see me. This song is genuinely quite friendly but the deeper meaning behind the lyrics provokes more thought. This is genuinely my favourite song to play live, as it gets the crowd involved.
