'The Dogs' is their first release as a duo. It was made as a motivator and as a warning pertaining to the 'dogs' of life; the negative thoughts that feed off of our failures and insecurities. It is a reminder to stay vigilant of the many things that suck us into negative thought patterns. This is a theme that's really important to us and many other people (especially other artists) around us.

The song was originally something I (Mary Clare) had started producing and kind of pushed to the side. We had a bunch of other songs we were working on putting out first, as an EP, and this one wasn't even really on the radar. But the song just resurfaced at the right time and our excitement about it fueled us to finish it and decide on it being our first release together. It's super important to us to pursue an idea when it lights us up like that did!
