This song was inspired by a conversation with a family member, asking if I could write something upbeat and something that would be overly depressing like my previous material.

So I worked in my bedroom and wrote a song from the angle of going to a party but not wanting to be there. So, a depressed party if you will. This is a song for that party.

My main inspirations are artists like Jamiroquai and Raphael Saadiq. I play all the instruments and sing in my bedroom studio.
